Employee Benefits Overview

Wells Fargo Center for the Arts offers a comprehensive benefits package for full-time employees, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, accidental death and dismemberment, long-term disability, employee assistance program, and AFLAC supplemental insurances. Other benefits include flexible time off (FTO), personal, holiday pay, and 401(k) plan. Part-time employees may be eligible for pro-rated flexible time off (FTO), personal, and holiday pay. The Arts Center pays for most of the insurance plans available for the employee. If an employee has dependent coverage, the employee pays 100% of their dependent coverage through payroll deductions.

Medical Plans

The medical plans are through Kaiser HMO, and include copay, deductible, and HSA plan options. 

Dental and Vision Plans

The dental plan offered is through Premier Access.  Premier Access is a PPO plan, therefore the employee may see any dentist. The vision plan offered is through Ameritas.  The Center pays 100% of the employee premium for the vision plan.

Life Insurance, Accidental Death & Dismemberment, Long Term Disability and Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

The Life Insurance, Accidental Death & Dismemberment, Long Term Disability and EAP Plans are offered through Prudential. The life insurance is one time the employee’s annual salary up to $50,000. The EAP is available to assist employees with many different types of life issues.  All of these plans are paid for 100% by the Arts Center.


AFLAC Supplement Insurances

AFLAC Supplemental Insurances are paid for by employees through payroll deductions for additional insurances such as accident, cancer, hospital, and life insurance needs. An AFLAC Representative is available to meet with employees individually to discuss a customized plan for themselves and their families.

401(k) Plan

The 401(k) plan offered is through John Hancock Financial Services.
