Born in Germany, Frank Schueler worked as a journeyman electro-mechanic and studied electromechanical engineering before moving to the U.S. in 1955. A decade later he took a course in creative wood design and what started as a hobby became a profession. Now working with metal, wood, and plastic, Schueler has exhibited in many solo and group shows throughout California, the United States, and Germany. The majority of his materials come from discarded or found objects. Inspired by the out-of-doors, Schueler’s studio and gallery can be found among apple orchards and vineyards along California's scenic North Coast. His gallery is open by appointment. Just call and he will gladly show you around!
