Linda Fleming
Linda Fleming is one of the Bay Area's most prominent sculptors, known for her longstanding exploration of how complex, otherworldly constructions evolve out of simple geometric forms. Her works express her interests in such diverse subjects as particle physics, psychological states, ancient history, industrial materials, and veils of curving space. Fleming’s work has been exhibited extensively throughout the United States and is represented in major public and private collections, including the Oakland Museum, Berkeley Art Museum, Albuquerque Art Museum, and Cantor Center of Visual Art at Stanford University, to name a few. Fleming is currently the chair of the Sculpture Department at the California College of the Arts (CCA) in San Francisco and Oakland.
