A German native, Frank Schueler studied electromechanical engineering before moving to the U.S. in 1955. He took a class in creative wood design a decade later and that led to a career as a sculptor specializing in metal, wood and plastic. The majority of his materials come from discarded or found objects and his finished pieces take inspiration from the out-of-doors.
