Accommodations for Patrons with Disabilities

Accessible Seating

The orchestra level (first floor) of the theater has accessible seating for people with mobility limitations. Please notify the Box Office of any special needs at the time of your ticket purchase so appropriate seating can be reserved for you and to make arrangements for assistance, if necessary, upon your arrival at the theater.

Please note: Wells Fargo Center for the Arts, built in the 1970s, is a two story facility with no elevator. The theater’s balcony level (second story) can only be accessed via a 28-step stairwell.

Assisted Listening

Assisted listening devices are available for our patrons at no cost.  Please notify the Box Office staff when you arrive.  Please be prepared to provide a credit card or driver’s license, which will be held until the device is returned.

Restrooms

Wheelchair accessible restrooms are located on the main floor level.

Parking

Ample parking is available for persons with handicapped placards. Spaces are located just outside the Center’s north and south entrances.

Service Animals

Certified service animals necessary to assist patrons with disabilities are welcome and must remain on a leash or harness at all times. Please contact the Box Office if you intend to bring a service animal to an event so appropriate seating can be reserved for you.

Questions and Concerns

Please see a house manager or volunteer usher if you have any concerns during a performance. General information about upcoming shows and events is available at the Box Office and the Events section of our website. Please share your comments and let us know how you enjoyed the show by viewing our website’s Contact Us page and sending us an email.
