Ruth Finley Person Theater

The 1600 seat Ruth Finley Person Theater at Wells Fargo Center for the Arts is the largest fixed seat venue in Sonoma County. The theater’s unique thrust stage design, with no seat further than 75-feet from the stage, provides a level of intimacy between artist and arts patron unlike any other in Northern California.

Seating in the Ruth Finley Person Theater is provided on two levels: Orchestra (floor level) and Balcony (upstairs, second story).

Orchestra

The orchestra level of the theater features approximately 1100 fixed seats in three sections surrounding the stage. This level of the theater is accessible by seven entrances from the Arts Center’s grand lobby. Handicapped accessible seating in the Ruth Finley Person Theater is provided on the orchestra level only.

Balcony

The balcony level of the Ruth Finley Person Theater features approximately 500 fixed seats and additional “standing room only” positions located directly behind the last row of balcony seating. This level of the theater offers tiered seating with an elevated view of the stage. It is accessible by four entrances located off the second level of the theater. The balcony level of the Ruth Finley Person Theater is accessible only by a 28-step stairwell (no elevator is available).
