Together with its resident companies, the Center is ranked among world’s top 100 performing arts presenters hosting performances in music, theater, dance, comedy, family programming and renowned speaker events; and serving more than 30,000 children and adults annually through its nationally-recognized education programs. Located in the heart of the Sonoma Wine Country, the Arts Center is owned and operated by the Luther Burbank Memorial Foundation, and relies on the generosity of members, donors, and sponsors to achieve its mission to enrich, educate, and entertain the North Bay community.
Discover Your Inner Artist
Wide-eyed nine year-olds impatiently await the curtain rising on their first live theater production… nervous laughter, excited squeals, and sheer joy as ‘the moment’ approaches.
Seasoned concert-goers surrender to The Four Seasons as if hearing Vivaldi for the first time…’violins up,’ the orchestra tunes their instruments, and the first sweeping chords break the silence.
A thunderous round of applause erupts… stamping feet, piercing whistles, and screams for more fill the air, as a favorite performer–a legendary musical icon–stands merely feet away to take a final bow.
This is the essence of the live arts experience at Wells Fargo Center for the Arts, at once a personal and shared experience, inviting the union of artist and arts lover. Like no other setting in northern California, Wells Fargo Center for the Arts places the audience at the heart of live performance, inspiring, delighting, and enthralling the arts patron, regardless of age or arts experience.
Here, the people of the North Bay find a place for personal enrichment, education, and entertainment that binds our community through a shared passion for what is artistic within all of us.
With our community’s continued support, the Wells Fargo Center for the Arts experience of today creates an enduring cultural force for the future.
