Photography by Students in
Santa Rosa High School’s ArtQuest Program
Wells Fargo Center for the Arts is proud to showcase student artwork from around the county. The current exhibit features photography from ten photography students from Santa Rosa High School’s ArtQuest program. The work was created throughout the 2014-15 school year and is from students ranging from grades 9 through 12.
ArtQuest offers an above and beyond experience in the Visual and Performing Arts. The passion, commitment and discipline of the Arts is connected to the energy of academic study; inspired by guest artists; enlarged by meaningful off-site visits, exhibits and performances; enriched by its proximity to Santa Rosa Junior College, the Santa Rosa Community Media Center and numerous nearby cultural organizations; and nurtured by generous parent, community and business support.
About the Exhibit
Students explored composition learning about lighting, shutter speed, and depth of field from teacher Tanya Braunstein, Fine Arts Department Chair at Santa Rosa High School. This exhibit includes several photography techniques such as collage, photo etching, black and white, color, and timed exposure. Topics covered include social landscape, portrait, fear, mystery and rising generations.
We thank Ms. Braunstein and all the ArtQuest students featured in this exhibit.
