The Art of Dessert raises $278,000; proceeds keep programs alive for students and teachers

Arts lovers and philanthropists who gathered March 3 for The Art of Dessert raised a record-breaking $278,000 in table sales, auction items, donations and a special gift. The annual fundraising gala was held this year in honor of The Klein Family and Rodney Strong Vineyards, named Arts Benefactors of the Year. Supporters shared a gourmet meal topped off by decadent desserts from Sonoma County’s top pastry chefs and, most importantly, raised vital funding to support arts and music programs that serve over 30,000 students and teachers each year. These programs often provide a student’s only exposure to the arts in our community.

We offer a standing ovation to our generous donors at The Art of Dessert and all year long.

THANK YOU for helping to keep the arts alive in our schools and in our community!
